Today is the last day! Finally this is just been so crazy over the last 2 weeks i hope i get home safe and sound.
We wake the next day. Maddy, James and Mac are full of excitement and eat a good breakfast quickly and get ready fast so we can swim out to the spaceship again and deliver the ankh! they tell us about what happened first though.
then the orders were to swim out at 12 but we are so hyped that we leave 10 mins early! the swim is really easy, and this time there are no complications! Then maddy pushes this button and the space ship goes up into the air. Wow is exciting we might actually be going home!
The alien opens the door and tells us in a scary kind of way us in and to follow him. We follow him into this control room, and he says very slowly, "You have the ankh?""Yes, we do. You learnt to speak English?" Maddy say, after all she is the best communicator in our group."Very good, and yes we have learnt to speak English, it has been quite a challenge. Can we please have the ankh?""That's good, yes, here it is." Morgan steps forward, slowly she is a little bit scared of the aliens, "Here, it was a gift to me, but you need it to get us back so here take it." She says in such a frightened tone."Thank you very much, I sense tension between me and you, there is no need to worry, you will not regret this decision. We are on your side, well that's better." i am so relieved when the alien said that, my Horror of them is now gone.
then the alien speaks in his little language to all the others of his kind and we get ready for the journey home! Finally i miss every one so much. but i must say i am really going to miss Matainui. i hope i come back some day. well Maybe i already have.........

Day 13
We wake up the next day and we decide to go to the little beach by that huge mountain,
and it is just a normal beach with sand, sand and more sand.We thought we would find something interesting like a spaceship, but no, This beach was normal, until suddenly out of no where in the distance we see a spaceship. this is weird for me because the others had told me about there aliens friends but i sort of thought they were just having me on.
I am so totally freaked out now! But James, Maddy and Mac all want to go see what it is, so they swim out to it. I think they had complications while out there because they were standing still for ages at one point. Me, Emma, Leah, and Morgan are so worried for all of them, this was not a good idea.
They came back with some bad news, they told us that Mac ditched us because he hated this stupid idea about living with us in an island so he ran away.
So we sit on the beach looking at the spaceship just wondering what is happening. then at about 10:00 at night you see little figures swimming back, and then we just fell asleep.

Day 12
The next morning we all told Morgan what had happened, Emma then told them to bring her a long twig and she made that into a rope, they then put it around Morgans neck and then well she woke up again. I told her never to take off the necklace because something very bad would happen.
I think this dream that she has had is quite frightening because she keeps thinking about, you can see in her facial expressions that she does not enjoy this one bit. I would hate to be in her situation at the moment. all this bad stuff is happening to her, it is very very unlucky.
Then we heard her say herself if I don't think about it I won't get scared. We forgot all about it though it and carried on with our life .Morgan, Leah, Maddy and I went down to the beach around the little island and rested there for a while.
Then, suddenly a green alien figure came and took us we suspected it was one of the bad aliens from my dream, we were freaking out as we knew what would happen as it was exactly like Morgans dream.

After we woke up we noticed that Maddy, Morgan and Leah had ditched us. Mac, James and Emma and me are the only ones left. We just chat about life for ages actually. After a whiles thought I decide to tell them about my secret obsession for knuckle bones and that at home I secretly practices at night whilst everyone else is asleep. Then I quickly whip out some knuckle bones that I had made and we play with them for a while as well.
Then through the bushes we all here a noise and out come "the ditchers"! "Where the hell have you guys been?" I shout angrily. "We were trying to find Morgan because she went sleep walking and didn't comeback, and now shes unconscious and the ankh is no longer inside of her. We are really confused, but when she wakes up hopefully she'll be able to answer our questions." They explain. "Oh, okay, sorry for shouting." i say i feel bad now. Day 10
We all wake up around the same time, and guess what! we all feel so much better! That is just so fabulous! But any way once every one is blue eyed and bushy tailed, we decide amongst ourselves what we are going to do with our sunny and gorgeous day. Maddy has an idea that we could visit the little island just off the coast where we first crash landed onto the island. I think that is a wonderful idea. So do the others so we get some water and berries that we find and set off on our wonderful journey to the little island, just so we can cheek it out.
While we are flying over i don't see any movement like we usually do. They probably still fell sick from all the ice cream. They should take some of the water. But they can't, they're not as special as us! And there's no way we are going to tell them about it. It could run out! that would be stupid!
When we finally land on this island it has a beautiful beach on it. I am fully jealous of its looks. Although i don't want to look like a beach. But back to the topic it is extra warm on the sand so i lie down and have a long afternoon nap. After that, we go deeper in to the island, and then we find Mr Woody and Miss McConnell's old house they were going to live in! It looks quite cosy actually. And it's made out of limestone, it looked pretty cool.

Then with my awesome shape shifting power i create a bonfire, with a shield around it so it is sustainable for our environment. then we toast berries and marshmallows then drift off one by one to sleep.

We woke up from probably the best nights sleep we had in a long time. We all felt kind of sick from eating all the ice-cream the day before. Jordan and Cairo then came to us after a while and offered us more ice-cream for break fast. We had to say no... no matter how tempting it sounded. We couldn't possibly eat one more spoon of it.
We were all feeling really sick. We talk amongst ourselves and decide as a group that we are going to go back to the waterfall and drink some of that wonderful water to try make ourselves better and sleep off that horrible sickness felling that we have. We all silently hope it goes by the time we wake up.

Day 8
We finally woke up from a really long nights sleep, it was around 11 o'clock! We walked to the forest and carried on just below it and we saw Jordan, he was transforming things into ice-cream. We watched turn absoloutely everything into ice-cream including a pond. It was like a pool of ice-cream! We couldn't believe our eyes, we hadn't seen anything like this before.Cairo was giving out this broach sort of thing that Jordan put on first we watched him slowly bring the broach to his chest and stick it there, then all of a sudden a full body suit surrounded him, then everyone else started to do it too! We jumped into the delicous, endless pool of ice-cream. For the rest of the day we swam in the pool of ice-cream eating it.
After a really long time eating and swimming in ice-cream, we got out and just began to talk about how awesome it was to find this ice-cream pool. It felt like a really long day and all of us were really tired, we didn't want to leave the ice-cream pool the next day but we knew we had too. We were so excited about finally having a delicous meal we fell asleep instintely.

Diary 8 - Day 7
We woke up from another rough nights sleep in the dark and cold cave. We got up pretty early so we decided to fly around outside. We all had special powers so we flew up and started to explore the outside.Then Maddy spots a sign and i can't read it because it is pretty far away. But then when we get closer and Maddy's face lights up when she sees the word ice cream. We all got really excited so we flew up closer to the sign. As we got closer we thought about the reality of finding a sign saying ice cream. We go and land by the ice cream truck. Maddy then says 'What the hey?, this ice cream truck is flying." when i first here her say this i think maybe she is just so excited that she is going to free ice cream that she is seeing things. But then i turn around and see that the truck is floating! With all the weird things we saw on this island, this must have been one of the weirdest.
Then the little people who are working in the ice cream truck say " Hello, what flavour would you like to eat today," these little people are just so random. I ask what flavours they have, and guess what they said. It made everyone that surrounded us fill with excitement. "Well we have every flavour possible". Wow i just can't wait to get stuck into a nice creamy desert. We were all just so happy and so we ate so much!
Once we had finished we decided we needed to get back, so we asked the driver if he could help us or take us back and they said nope. "We could take you to this ever lasting ice cream pit though. Were just going there"
We were so excited and once they dropped us off there we slept there for the night.
Then the little people who are working in the ice cream truck say " Hello, what flavour would you like to eat today," these little people are just so random. I ask what flavours they have, and guess what they said. It made everyone that surrounded us fill with excitement. "Well we have every flavour possible". Diary 7 - Day 6
We slept in the cave for the night. (Away from the monkey though) Our sleep was terrible, we slept on the cave floor with all the rocks underneath us. It was one of the worst sleeps i've ever had on the island. After everybody had woken up we tried to come up with a plan to do. "Lets get out of this cave first," Somebody said.We agreed and just before we were going to leave the cave Maddy said, "I think we should go back to the monkey and try and work the time machine."
After a whiles thought we decided it was a better idea. We went to the monkey and after a long, long time of blabbing on about how the time machine works, we went into the time machine to try it out. He told us about some side affects like how we could end up in space for ever. That seems like a long time, I thought. "This time machine could help us get off the island," James said. Eventually we decided to take the risk and got into the time machine. I pulled the lever and it felt like we were in space. This is like the first day in the plane, I thought. After the weightlessness stopped we got out of the time machine.We saw ourselves making huts and gathering food. This must be what the island would have been like if our tripped ended up how we hoped.
After what seemed like hours, we got back into the time machine and went back to our normal time. "Time traveling is making me tired," Emma said. "I'm going to bed." We all agreed and decided to do the same. We then braced ourselves for a rough nights sleep again.

The people left were James, Mac, Emma, Maddy, Leah, and Me.We were all worried why this had happened, we thought something strange was going on in the cave.

Diary 5 - Day 4
Mac and I woke up inside the temple, "Man my backs sore after sleeping on the gravel," Mac said tiredly. As we slowly got up some weird things walked into the temple. One was a white pegasus, who transformed into Morgan, then these godesses with wings walked in and transformed into Maddy and Leah. "We transformed into these weird and cool things," they said in unicon. "Well I got transformed into this water human thing and Macs a leprechaun, but we can change back to normal like you guys" I said. We left the temple together and climbed further up the mountain and saw a weird swamp monster carrying Emma. The weird swamp monster slowley started turning back into a human... "It's James carrying Emma," Maddy said excitedly.
When James and Emma caught up with us we noticed that Emma was knocked out so Mac used the Skull to heal her.After that Emma woke up and felt much better. We climbed up the rest of the way to the mountain and at the top of it we could see the whole island. We found it kind of weird because we saw the other mountains and they looked like Egyptian Pyramids.There were different things all over the island different things no one had seen before, Tunnels, caves and forests but the most beautiful was the waterfall. It felt as though it was calling to us so Maddy, Leah, and Morgan flew all of us down there.
The water tasted different, like it had an added warmth to it, we loved it. After we had a drink of the water we decided to sleep there for the night. So we made a fire and slowly drifted off into a deep sleep.

Diary 4 - Day 3
We woke up from an Eire nights sleep in our cell. As I got up I noticed that Maddy, and Morgan weren't in the same cell as me, but Mac was. "Mac!" I said excitedly, "How did you get here?" "You guys didn't come back to the camp site so me and Leah came after you guys but then these aliens captured me and put me in here. Then they took Maddy, Leah, and Morgan to the cell next door." Then suddenly just as Mac had finished what he said an alien opened the cell and pushed this silver human thing into our cell. "Malik!" Mac shouted. "What is that." "I don't know," I replied. Then the silver human thing pushed a button on it's arm then instead of this weird silver alien, there was Grayson. "Grayson! What are you doing here!" Mac and I shouted. "Well I saw this weird thing in the air flying so I flew up to it to see what it was then these aliens came outside and captured me."
A long time had passed then these aliens came in and handed us a tray of food. They looked like rubber balls. Grayson could understand the aliens with his special suit and they said that humans can eat this food. So we took a little nibble at it and it tasted delicious. "Can we see the girls." I said. After a while they took us out of our cell and put us in another room with the girls.
After a while of mulling over things the aliens then took us outside and gathered us all together. For some strange reason we could understand the aliens and they told us to pick something from the bench of objects the laid out in front of us. Maddy picked first and picked a staff with wings on it. Morgan then picked an ankh and then one of the aliens picked up the ankh and put it inside of her. Everyone was scared. Leah was next and picked a leather pouch filled with rune stones. Each stone had it's own magical ability. Then Mac picked the crystal skull. And I chose the last thing available, some strange liquid.
After a while the aliens told us to go into this strange temple so Maddy, Morgan, Leah, Mac and Me went to the temple. We then started walking and saw a strange sacrificing stone. Maddy and Morgan suddenly started looking at me in a weird way. "Why are you guys looking at me like that" I said. After a while they stopped looking at that. "Why were you guys looking at me like that" I said. "For some reason we had the urge to kill you then we broke out of that" Maddy said.
After a long time I got really thirsty and decided to drink that liquid the aliens gave me. I felt really weird and then after a while I transformed into a weird water alien, but then I changed back. Diary 3: Day 2
We woke up from a rough nights sleep, with sore backs, arms, and legs. We weren't sure what to do now so we decided to travel up closer to the stream. "W-wait up guys" Malik said, "I think I here someone up there. I'll go check and you guys wait here." Malik edged closer to the sound and then jumped out of his hiding place and saw a camp with, Maddy, Emma, Morgan, and Leah all sitting there. "Ok guys its alright, you can come out now." Malik said as James and Mac came out of hiding. "Wow! What are you guys doing here," the girls said in unison. "Wait here for a second..." James said as he grabbed Malik and Mac and dragged them behind the bushes. "Guys I have an idea, I think that we should form an alliance with them as they could help us and they might have some valuable information and resources that we need." After a while of thinking, we all agreed that was a good idea and decided to tell the girls. After another long time the girls finally came to an agreement and decided that it was a good idea. "We have to share all information and resources and NO double crossing!" They said strictly.
They then told us their story about how Maddy got bitten by a weird spider and got a bruise which kind of made her a spider and how they put amber on her arm and rapped a bandage around it so it would heal it.
We then started travelling together and came across a stream which looked like there was a little kind of island on the other side. "We should go over," Maddy said. "Yea we should," Morgan agreed. They then started walking across the river together across the river. "Oh my gosh look out!" We all called out as we saw a swarm of eels swimming towards them. Luckily, they got out on the other side but then Malik helplessly fell in. An grabbed hold of Maliks shirt then James came in and swiped it away with his machete. As they fought off eels, Malik then decided to go with the others on the other side but James decided to stay on the other side. "We'll meet up with you guys back here before it starts getting dark," James called out.
Malik, Maddy, and Morgan then started walking across the island and then came across a weird structure about the size of a football pitch. "Wow what is that!" Morgan said. We then edged closer to the strange structure and saw some weird symbols on it. One looked like an eye sort of thing and the other one was a hand with 3 fingers. Maddy then touched the eye like thing and fell onto the ground unconscious. Malik and Morgan then shook her awake and she told us about this weird dream she had about her floating in space. Malik then decided to touch the 3 fingered hand with his machete and fell unconscious too. Maddy and Morgan then shook him awake and he had a strange dream too. He said he was floating in space towards this metal sort of pyramid thing. We decided to find away in so we tied up some rope Malik brought in his pack and threw it over the wall. It took a couple of turns to get it stuck in place. We then abseiled up the wall and jumped down this hole. There were all these strange lights around us like sort of computers. Malik then pushed one of the buttons and a door opened up like a door to a space ship. We decided to go in and we saw a circle kind of button on the ground and stepped on it. It was like an elevator and took us down. Then we heard all these weird noises and some weird alien thing started chasing us. We tried to run away but it soon caught up with us and grabbed me. Maddy tried to push the alien off then another alien came and grabbed her. Then a swarm of aliens came and grabbed Morgan helpless attempts at saving us.
They carelessly shoved us into a cell and left us there for a while. As we pondered in the silence, one of the aliens pushed a tray into our cell with 3 cups of weird liquid in it. It looked just like water so we stuck our fingers in it and tried it. It made us feel so warm and so alive so we drank on, and on, and on. We quickly finished our drinks and then started to fall into a slow sleep, They must have drugged us, we all thought as we slowly fell into a deep sleep.
They then told us their story about how Maddy got bitten by a weird spider and got a bruise which kind of made her a spider and how they put amber on her arm and rapped a bandage around it so it would heal it.
We then started travelling together and came across a stream which looked like there was a little kind of island on the other side. "We should go over," Maddy said. "Yea we should," Morgan agreed. They then started walking across the river together across the river. "Oh my gosh look out!" We all called out as we saw a swarm of eels swimming towards them. Luckily, they got out on the other side but then Malik helplessly fell in. An grabbed hold of Maliks shirt then James came in and swiped it away with his machete. As they fought off eels, Malik then decided to go with the others on the other side but James decided to stay on the other side. "We'll meet up with you guys back here before it starts getting dark," James called out.
Malik, Maddy, and Morgan then started walking across the island and then came across a weird structure about the size of a football pitch. "Wow what is that!" Morgan said. We then edged closer to the strange structure and saw some weird symbols on it. One looked like an eye sort of thing and the other one was a hand with 3 fingers. Maddy then touched the eye like thing and fell onto the ground unconscious. Malik and Morgan then shook her awake and she told us about this weird dream she had about her floating in space. Malik then decided to touch the 3 fingered hand with his machete and fell unconscious too. Maddy and Morgan then shook him awake and he had a strange dream too. He said he was floating in space towards this metal sort of pyramid thing. We decided to find away in so we tied up some rope Malik brought in his pack and threw it over the wall. It took a couple of turns to get it stuck in place. We then abseiled up the wall and jumped down this hole. There were all these strange lights around us like sort of computers. Malik then pushed one of the buttons and a door opened up like a door to a space ship. We decided to go in and we saw a circle kind of button on the ground and stepped on it. It was like an elevator and took us down. Then we heard all these weird noises and some weird alien thing started chasing us. We tried to run away but it soon caught up with us and grabbed me. Maddy tried to push the alien off then another alien came and grabbed her. Then a swarm of aliens came and grabbed Morgan helpless attempts at saving us.
They carelessly shoved us into a cell and left us there for a while. As we pondered in the silence, one of the aliens pushed a tray into our cell with 3 cups of weird liquid in it. Diary 2: Day 1
I had spent a week preparing and packing my bags to go to the Matainui Islands, and now we were finally boarding the bus to leave to Kawhia harbor. Everyone was brimming with energy before we left, faces were filled with excitement.
It was a rough drive to kawhia harbour with bumps, twists, and turns but we finally managed to get there. Our smiles suddenly faded as we relized who was flying the plane, Samuel. "This can't be right," many people shouted. "He's only 11 years old!" Eventually we boreded the plane and got ready for take off. "Please fascin your seat belts as we are about to be taking off, thank you," Samuel called out through his microphone. The majority of us were still in shock from hearing we were being piloted by an 11 year old kid.
"Finally about 10 minutes until we arrive," James said excitedly. As everyone was chatting among themselves suddenly, everyone began to float up as though there was no gravity then suddenly we fell back down into our seats and the plane began plumbeting towards the ground.
Everyone was screaming and a few people were in tears, but above all the noise you could hear Samuel cry out "I NEVER PASSED MY TEST! AAAAAARRRRGGGGGHHHH!!!!"
We finally crash landed into the ocean, people were crying, everybody was in shock. There was no time to grab their packs for most people so everybody began swimming towards shore. It was about 1000 metres away so the majority of us needed help.
We finally reached the shore line and everybody began drying themselves off. "Oh no!" some body called out. "Ben, Jasser and Jordand are missing...
Eventually everyone finally got over the shoch that people were missing and got into their groups to decide what to do next. "Oi Malik, Mac, guess what I found out!" James said with an eager grin on his face. "The back of the plane is still sticking up above the water so their must be an air bubble in it!" "So," Mac said. "I bet you if we swam out their, there would be our bags in the plane, and we could catch our breath back in the air bubble." "Great! Malik you look after the stuff we've got now and me and james will go out to the plane."
Soon their plan was under way. Malik stayed on the shoreline and Mac and James swam out to the plane. Josiah, Sam, and Leon the followed James and Mac to see what they were doing.
After what seemed lik forever, James, Mac, Josiah, Sam, and Leon finally retured to shore. As Malik hurriedly lookied at what James and Mac brought, James went over to Josiah, Sam, and Leon and said "You guys owe us a share of what you guys got because it was our idea to go to the plane." James then came back to us with an extra parachute pack. "Sweet! We've got another 10 items, a ripped parachute, and a parachute!" Malik said excitedly. "We should find a place to stay at for the night." James said. "Lets go!"
We then set off to find a stream were we could camp next too, get fresh water, and be able to clean ourselves of all the dirt we had on us. We pitched the tent and set up a fire and got ready for a rough nights sleep.

Diary 1: Preperation
Mr Woodcock decided that we were going to the Matainui islands so everybody began preparing for the two week trip. We had to split up into different groups, in my group was James, Asser, and myself. We than had to chose what we were going to bring to the island, we had the clothes we were wearing and a packed lunch. We then picked ten items to have in our packs, my pack consisted of,
1. A three man tent
2. 2 litre water bottle
3. Sleeping bag
4. First aid kit
5. Insect repelent
6. Hunting Knife
7. Jockeys
8. Flame lighter
9.Washing kit
10. Billy tin
